Damon Wilson: Implications of Obama's Moscow Trip

Damon Wilson, director of the Atlantic Council's International Security Program, participated in a panel for the inaugural webcast of the AHA! Network, an initiative of the U.S.-Ukraine Foundation established to highlight regional issues facing Ukraine and focus on steps to their solution.  The panel, "President Obama goes to Moscow: Implications for the Baltic-Black-Caspian Region," was moderated by Melana Zyla Vickers, a journalist, and also featured David J. Kramer, Senior Transatlantic Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States.

Video of Kramer's remarks is available at the AHA! Network.  He recently participated in an Atlantic Council event with Georgian Defense Minister Vasil Sikharulidze entitled "Georgia’s Future Strategic Challenges: Reforming Under Pressure."  Kramer and Wilson also collaborated on an essay for Foreign Policy's The Argument blog in May.

Wilson served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for European Affairs at the National Security Council from 2007 to 2009, and Kramer was Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor and a Deputy Assistant Secretary responsible for Ukraine from 2005 to 2008.
