Biography

Tuqa Nusairat

Tuqa Nusairat is assistant director of the Atlantic Council's Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East.

Previously, she worked at the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED) where she managed programs to promote dialogue on political reform and democracy between and among Americans and Middle Easterners. Her interests in democracy and governance issues in the Middle East region also led to internships at the National Endowment for Democracy, the US House of Representatives, and the Woodrow Wilson Center. She holds a master of science in foreign service degree from Georgetown University, and completed her BA in government and international politics at George Mason University.
