Biography

Taleen Ananian

Taleen Ananian is the associate director of communications at the Atlantic Council.

Taleen manages media outreach, marketing and branding for the Atlantic Council. She most recently held the position of senior program officer for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce’s leadership development programs, where she integrated fellowships, curriculum, and civic engagement with social media platforms, led several website and branding redesigns and developed new grant-funded programs and leadership initiatives for California’s leaders.

Taleen recently obtained her master of public diplomacy from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, where she was a senior editor of USC's student-run Public Diplomacy Magazine and served as a research intern with the USC Center on Public Diplomacy. As part of her studies, in 2010 Taleen spent three months abroad in Paris, France, serving as a program intern with the German Marshall Fund. She also earned her bachelor of arts in broadcast journalism from USC's Annenberg School and a minor in Spanish. While at USC, she co-founded a live news radio program on student-run KSCR 1560 AM and contributed as a writer, camera operator and editor to Annenberg Television News.
