Biography

Peter Cassata

Peter Cassata was the Associate Editor and Public Affairs Coordinator of the Atlantic Council from January 2009 until March 2010.  Before holding these positions, Peter interned as an Assistant Editor from September through December 2008.

Prior to arriving at the Council, Peter wrote political and economic risk reports with the Asia and Middle East desks of the PRS Group.  He was also a Communications Manager for AHI International Corporation.

A native of Chicago, Peter holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics.  He earned a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and studied in Ireland as an undergraduate.  His areas of academic concentration include post-communist transitions in Russia and Eurasia and the international relations of the Middle East.
