Biography

Kathryn Sparks

Kathryn Sparks is a program assistant for the Atlantic Council’s Energy and Environment Program.

Kathryn graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BA in political science. She now attends The George Washington University and is working towards her MA in international affairs, security studies. Her focus is on energy security and nonproliferation. Before joining the Atlantic Council, Kathryn interned with the US Department of State at the embassy in Berlin. She has also interned at former Assemblyman Sam Blakeslee’s Office in San Luis Obispo, Ca, and volunteered with the David Harmer congressional campaign. Kathryn speaks conversational German and comes from Monument, CO.
