Biography

Duncan Pickard

Duncan Pickard is a fellow for the Rafik Hariri Center for the Middle East focusing on political and economic development in North Africa.

His writing on constitutional reform in Tunisia and Libya has been published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and Democracy Reporting International, where he works as a constitutional expert. He has also written on economic reform in post-revolutionary Tunisia for the African Development Bank, and he worked in Tunis for the International Foundation for Electoral Systems. Pickard has a BA in history and Middle Eastern studies from Tufts University and a master's degree from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. He is based in Berlin.
