Biography

David Capezza

David Capezza is currently a senior analyst serving at the Chief of Naval Operations.  He previously served as a consultant at The Center for a New American Security in Washington, DC where he worked on U.S. national security and defense issues.   He also served at the U.S. Department of State as an Iraq Political-Military Officer.  Prior to that, David worked at the Department of State in the Iraq Support Unit, the Model for Overseas Management and the Office of Foreign Missions.  David was also an intern at the Russia Desk at the Department.  

He received his MA from the Europe and Eurasia program at the George Washington University, Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, DC.   His focus was on U.S.-Russia relations and NATO & European security policy.
