Biography

Borut Grgic

Borut Grgic is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council's Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center.

He is the founder and director of ISS. He worked as advisor to both the Chairman in Office of the OSCE and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia in 2005. In 2006 he was foreign policy advisor to the President of Slovenia, and in 2007 was a diplomatic advisor to the Kosovo Prime Minister. Borut is an expert in EU, Balkan and Caspian relations, political economy and specializes on frozen conflicts. Borut is a graduate of Stanford University.
