Biography

Alex Massie

Scottish journalist recently returned to his native heath after five happy years in Washington DC. Contributor to The Scotsman, The Daily Telegraph, The New Republic, National Review Online, The Sunday Telegraph, Scotland on Sunday, The Sunday Business Post etc etc.

Aspirations to playing international rugby for Scotland and cricket for England cruelly snuffed out by lack of talent.

Educated in Perthshire and subsequently, and riotously, at Trinity College Dublin as part of an effort to honour the spirit of JP Donleavy's "The Ginger Man". Won the John Smith Memorial Mace debating competition in 1997.
