From the Pakistan Observer:  Turkey has assumed the operational command of the Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG- 2), an alliance maritime anti-mine force involving ships from member countries, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported on Thursday.
