General William "Kip" Ward, Commander of United States Africa Command, joined the Atlantic Council to discuss present and future challenges to peace and security on the African continent.  He offered his perspective on current U.S. security efforts in Africa as well as on how the U.S. can work with friends and allies on missions in Africa ranging from capacity building to humanitarian relief.
