This series sponsors a luncheon featuring the EU ambassador whose country currently holds the rotating EU Presidency. Past speakers include the ambassadors from Great Britain, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, and others.

The most recent EU Presidency Lunch was held on December 12, 2005, featuring British Ambassador Sir David Manning who addressed a group of Washington policy experts and opinion leaders. Ambassador Manning reviewed achievements of the British EU presidency which concludes at the end of 2005 and previewed the agenda of the upcoming European Council in Brussels.
