The Atlantic Council’s Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center fosters dialogue among regional leaders, as well with counterparts from key neighbors and global leaders. Combining in-depth understanding of Eurasia's history with expertise on politics, economics and energy, the Center provides distinctive research and advice to governments and businesses worldwide. It seeks to promote an agenda of regional cooperation and integration based on shared values and common interest in a free, prosperous, and peaceful future. The Center’s collaborative approach aims to catalyze local, regional, and global strategies to address economic growth, deal more effectively with political issues, and bring about energy development and trade in ways that reinforce economic and political well-being.

Two Decades of Transition in Caucasus and Central Asia: Taking Stock and the Road Ahead

On June 19, please join the Eurasia Center for a discussion on the IMF’s recent presentation Two Decades of Transition in Caucasus and Central Asia: Taking Stock and the Road Ahead with Dr. Juha Kähkönen, deputy director of the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia department, and the Honorable William Courtney, former US ambassador to Georgia and Kazakhstan and former special assistant to the President and senior director of the National Security Council staff for Russia, Ukraine, and Eurasia. This event will be streamed LIVE from 10:30 a.m.

Private Roundtable with OSCE Secretary General Zannier

On June 4, the Atlantic Council hosted an off-the-record roundtable discussion between Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, State Department representatives and Council leaders and scholars. Topics ranged from OSCE strengths and its strategy for future missions to tactics for augmenting US and EU engagement.

Armenia-NATO Relations: Challenges and Prospects

On May 7, the Atlantic Council hosted an off-the-record roundtable discussion with senior experts on NATO and the South Caucasus. The event was organized jointly with Policy Forum Armenia, a virtual think tank with interest in Armenia’s development and national security.
