On the second anniversary of the Russia-Georgia war, the Atlantic Council is launching a high-level, bipartisan task force on Georgia, co-chaired by Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).

Ambassador Ross Wilson Named Director of the Atlantic Council's Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center

The Atlantic Council today named Ross Wilson, former U.S. ambassador to Turkey and Azerbaijan, as the Director of the Dinu Patriciu Eurasia Center.   In that position, he will be a member of the Council’s top management team with responsibility for programs and projects aimed at addressing the energy, economic and political issues of the Black Sea, Caspian and Central Asian regions.

Atlantic Council Releases Iran Sanctions Report

The Atlantic Council has produced a comprehensive reference work on Iran entitled U.S.-Iranian Relations: An Analytic Compendium of U.S. Policies, Laws and Regulations, which documents for the first time how long-term changes in U.S. policy reflect the lack of a clear consensus on how to curb the strategic threat Iran is widely considered to pose to U.S. interests in the Middle East.
