Rudolph Atallah, senior fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Michael S. Ansari Africa Center, was interviewed on France's call for a United Nations response to the situation in Mali by Amanda Blitz on the CTV News Channel. Atallah, who served as Africa counterterrorism director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, reports that the chances of immediate action to resolve the crisis are slim.
