Rudolph Atallah Discusses Mali Crisis on CNN

Rudolph Atallah, senior fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Michael S. Ansari Africa Center, was interviewed about the crisis in Mali by Erin Burnett on CNN’s OutFront. Atallah, who served as Africa counterterrorism director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, discussed the threat posed by al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb and other militant Islamist groups which have taken over the northern half of the West African country.
