Rudolph Atallah on CNN to discuss AQIM in Africa

Rudolph Atallah, senior fellow in the Atlantic Council’s Michael S. Ansari Africa Center, was interviewed on al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb's recent call for attacks on US embassies across the Sahel region by Erin Burnett on CNN’s OutFront. Atallah, who served as Africa counterterrorism director in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, discussed the threat posed by the al-Qaeda affiliate and other militant Islamist groups in North Africa and the Sahel.
