J. Peter Pham Discusses Islamist Terrorist Groups in Africa on NPR

J. Peter Pham, director of the Atlantic Council’s Michael S. Ansari Africa Center, was interviewed by Jerome McDonnell on Islamist terrorist groups in Africa for today’s edition of the NPR’s Worldview, the global affairs program produced out of WBEZ in Chicago. During the 20-minute segment, Pham discussed the challenges posed by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, MUJOA, Ansar Dine, and other groups operating in Mali and the Sahel, Boko Haram in Nigeria, and Al-Shabaab in Somalia and East Africa.
