J. Peter Pham Debates US Military's Africa Role on the RT Television Network’s “Cross Talk”

J. Peter Pham, director of the Atlantic Council’s Michael S. Ansari Africa Center, was a guest on the Russian state-owned television network RT’s flagship “Cross Talk” program, hosted by Peter Lavelle. During the thirty-minute show, which aired today, Pham debated with Ivan Eland, senior fellow at the Independent Institute, and James Mittleman, professor of international relations at the American University and editor-in-chief of the online magazine Think Africa Press, about US policy in Africa in general and the role of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) in particular.
