With each passing day, Turkey seems to become the indispensible nation of the Middle East and Central Asia, as well as America’s go-to ally. Dr. Soner Cagaptay, director of the Turkish Research Program at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy explains the transformation to Sarwar Kashmeri, senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.
