From NATO:  Video of German troops preparing a Patriot missile system for deployment to Turkey. The German parliament agreed to send 2 Patriot batteries under NATO command to defend Turkey. According to Col. Marcus Ellerman, the German Patriot missiles should arrive in Turkey mid-January and a few weeks after that, the weapon systems will be fully operational.  Lt. Col. Carsten Bockstette said, "This is the first time that the German air force is deploying this system and this is a really historic event."  (photo: Sean Gallup/Getty)
