As U.S. combat forces commence the drawdown in Afghanistan and the U.S.-Pakistan relationship navigates an extremely tense period post-Osama bin Laden, decades-old hostility between Pakistan and India continues to serve as the backdrop for instability and tension across South Asia. Panelists discussed the critical issues dividing Pakistan and India and the viable roles that U.S. policy might legitimately play in mitigating these longstanding tensions.
