Medvedev Would Attack Georgia Again If Provoked

Neil Richard Leslie | September 12, 2008

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev would attack Georgia again if provoked.  Mr Medvedev told Reuters that even if Georgia were put on a firm path to full NATO membership, he would not hesitate to strike should the Georgians provoke Moscow again.  In a speech delivered to a group of Russian experts, Mr Medvedev also drew parallels between Georgia's attack on South Ossetia and the September 11 attacks on the US.
