Elena Pak

Elena joined the Atlantic Council upon graduation from Western Kentucky University in 2005, where she completed a Masters degree in communication and a graduate certificate in Leadership Studies. Her graduate work was focused on intercultural, international, and political communication, and international relations and development. Her thesis project addressed the issues of political power and democratizatsia in Kazakhstan. Prior to her graduate school, Elena worked at Hyatt Regency Almaty as a business development manager. She holds a degree in economics from Turan University, Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Elena is from Kazakhstan and is a native speaker of Russian.
