Jeff Lightfoot  

Mr. Lightfoot was promoted to Assistant Director in May 2008, following terms at the Council as an intern and a program associate. Prior to joining the Atlantic Council, Jeff worked or interned with Competitive Futures, Inc., the Scowcroft Group and State Farm Insurance.

Jeff received his MA in European and Eurasian Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in May 2008. These studies included a semester in exchange at Sciences-Po Paris in 2007. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in May 2006 with a BA in International Studies and French and a BS from the Kelley School of Business. A native of Schaumburg, Illinois, Jeff is fluent in French.
