Adriatic 3 Make Case for Membership

The defense ministers from the Adriatic Three nations of Albania, Croatia, and Macedonia addressed the Atlantic Council on what Amb. Robert Hunter referred to as the beginning of the final “43 days of their march to membership” in NATO. They each emphasized their country’s commitment to the “common language of liberty, freedom, and economic choice” that unites the Alliance as well as their desire to be contributors to, not merely consumers of, collective security.
